That Was a Joke, HAHA, Fat Chance

So I was dinking around on my computer today and I came across this picture that I took a couple weeks ago and remembered that I wanted to blog about it, but I never got around to it.


Anyway, the story behind the picture goes a little like dees:

So there had been this sign up in the stairway of my dorm for the longest time advertising for a hall meeting to select the government. Anyway, the only way the hall can manage to get residents to attend is by providing free food. So for this meeting they were going to have ice cream cake (as you can see). But one day I was walking home from class and something caught my eye. There had been an addition to the sign. In small print below the cake sign someone had scribbled in "The cake is a lie!" Now I would like to say I burst into laughter at this point, but I am not that outspoken so I chuckled to myself quietly and took a picture right away. Only in the Honors dorm would such a comment be made. I then proceeded to run upstairs and tell my roommates about my discovery. For some reason they were not as excited as I was about it. I don't think any of them understood, which was a real shame. Thus I figured I should share this story on the internet, since it might get better reception there. I only failed at the sharing part. I tend to do that a lot.

So there you have it, the story of exactly how nerdy my dorm is. And I just need to make a note here: HUGE SUCCESS!
