Pardon my Lateness...

Well, not much excitement has been going on down in P-town. Its midterms time and everyone has been studying like no tomorrow. Its been crazy. This whole semester has been crazy. Not my best. I actually failed a physics exam. Now I hate to say but I am usually that girl who says "Oh, I did terrible" and then gets a B+. But this time when I say I did terrible, I really mean I did terrible. I have never actually failed an exam before. This was a new experience. I still haven't decided if I like it yet, but I always have my withdraws if things continue in this manner. Oh and I felt kinda silly this weekend. I wanted to hang out with the boy on Friday after all my terrible exams and projects (I also wanted to get his advise on some homework) but when I got on facebook I saw his status was "In Pasco for the weekend" I was just like "thanks for telling me" I had no idea he was leaving. I was a bit annoyed at first. But then I remembered a few weeks ago when I took a spontaneous road trip to southern Idaho and failed to mention this to him. I'm still not sure if he didn't tell me on purpose as payback or not... heh.

Other than that, weather has been weird, its been awfully warm with random days in which it will be about 20F and frosty and then go back to 45F the next day. Oh I got a new cell phone a few weeks back. I have had the same silver razr for about 5 years now and I thought it was time to upgrade. Sadly Verizon doesn't have very many exciting phones. I was going to go for a generic phone, but I got suckered into getting the LG Dare, and I actually kinda like it. It is a bit silly being a touch screen and all, but I like it. Its no iPhone, but as a phone it works pretty well. It also has an awesome camera, so bam 2 for 1, now I dont need to get a digital camera.

Today I watched the Oscars, that was a little disappointing as always. I have a hard time with the oscars, becuase one I love them, but I am always disappointed. A lot of the time the people I think should win don't. I feel that most of the time the awards are always political. I hate when films win for reasons other than the ones they won for. Ok, let me explain. Milk won the oscar for best original screenplay somehow. I don't think it really deserved this award. I mean I'm sure it was a good film and had an interesting message and all, but I definitely don't think it deserved the best screenplay of the year. The other nominees definitely had better writting, I think Milk only won becuase it was controversial, and people wanted to make a statement (also, the acceptance speech was a bit uncalled for) but oh well, thats my 2 cents and they dont really matter. But I was excited that Kate Blanchett won, I love her and am happy to see she finally got and oscar, now I really want to see Revolutionary Road! But I do have to say this year was a bit of a let down, not very many good movies came (or at least ones that I wanted to see) I am very excited for next year though, there are a bunch of films I cant wait to see!

In other movie news, I watched Memento for the first time this weekend, and I have to say I really liked it. Its definitely worth seeing. I can't believe I went this long in my life without seeing it. Oh well. I also watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail with the subtitles for "those who don't like the film" for the first time (you know, the ones randomly taken from henry VI) and I will say it made the movie all the more enjoyable. I've owned this movie for years and have never actually watched it with the subtitles. I am very glad now that my roommate recommended it. However, I was also disappointed this weekend, we wanted to see Coraline but it wasnt showing in P-town, we would have to go to Spokane, and thats a bit too far of a drive. Maybe the roomie and I will check it out next weekend, after we sign a lease for an apartment that is...

Speaking of apartments, the boy's apartment complex made Digg, that was pretty exciting. And its true, some of the wifi names in that place are pertty interesting... Maybe I will take a screenshot next time I'm there and show you.

There sadly hasnt been much else to talk about, I did have some things I wanted to share, but sadly I forgot all of them. :\ Oh well, here is a little something from a blog I wrote about a week ago that I never posted >_<:

Just dinking around on facebook this morning and I have to say I don't think their ad software works very well. I am in the Washington State University network and I keep getting ads for the Gonzaga basketball online store... Seriously facebook?

Also, It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival!!

My roommate was watching some movie the other day and I have seriously had that song stuck in my head non stop for the last three days. Its midly annoying and mildy amusing at the same time.

Oh I also went on a late night adventure to Safeway with the roomie the other night and got some wonderful little plants to replace the ones she killed last semester. The purple one is exciting because it looks exactly like one that our friend from Florida left us last year (which sadly died).
And today I heard from a friend that Kanye West was wearing a letterman's jacket from my high school and I was in disbelief, but this blog says otherwise. Its mind boggling how such a famous person like that would get a letterman's jacket from somewhere as random as kamiakin. Too much fun!
