Today on Digg I saw that there was this BS list of books that apparently Sarah Palin wanted to ban from a library somewhere. While the list was silly and obviously fake, it was humorous. However, if it were a list of books that Christians would find offensive, then there were some glaring omissions, and really they were all books that could be considered "classics". So what really got to me was the fact that while I like to say I am well read, and have in fact read a great deal of books, most of the books I have read were obscure "classics" that most people have never even heard of, let alone read. So I was reading this list and was quite disappointed at how many books I have never read. So I think I will make it an effort this year to try and read more of the "classic" classics. But then again, I can hardly keep up with the reading for my GenEd class, let alone books I'm not required to read.
Anyway, that was my thought for the day.
Not much else has gone through my head that will seem exciting to you as a reader, or that I am allowed to share on this blog. XD
Yes, we had a meeting (we being me and my suitemates) decided that when it comes to posting information about each other online we should just not be a dumbass. Thus, I don't think I can mention what we talk about last night whilst eating chinese food, but it was hilarious. I just wish I had had more exciting stories to tell...
But there was one exciting adventure. So it was down to me and my roommate over who was to drive us all to pick up the chinese, and so I offered to drive since my car was closer and I hadn't started it in a while. So anyway, we drove over to New Garden, and one of the girls asked if she could roll down the window and I said yes except for the back right window. That window likes to roll down, but it doesn't roll back up... So apparently another one of my suitemates didnt hear that, and the next comment I hear is "um, sam, your window isn't going back up" She had managed to roll the window all the way down.
See, normally how I get that window back up is I pull on the acutal window while holding the switch to roll it up. But there was no window to pull on. Luckily my father was in Walla Walla today and dropped down to come and fix it. And! He made it so that the window doesnt roll down at all now.
So in the end everything worked out fine, and my car only sat in the parking lot for 1 day with the window completely rolled down, and sadly, no one stole it either.
And this has been another installment of The Crazy Misadventures of Sam and Co. Please tune in next time for another exciting story...
Oh! and one more thing! Apparently "Casette" and "Party Pete" have both made an appearance in my Physics lab (which sucks by the way). Now for all of you not in the know, the communications between yours truely and Party Pete have been down since the beginning of the last school year, so maybe some of the lines can be repaired with this class. I will have to keep you updated!
- Cheers, Sam

I'm so glad that I am a nameless "she" that idiotically rolls down your car window due to my lack of listening skills. I'm a terrible suitemate... but I am prety damn funny so I think at times it's an alright trade.
