What Drugs are Casting Directors on?

Ah, so here I am again, sitting in the Honors Lab on shift, bored out of my mind. Not only am I in the least used lab on campus, but its also 10:30 in the morning. So, out of boredom (and not wanting to do and reading for classes) I wandered over to rotten tomatoes, one of my all time favorite sites. And one article they had this morning really caught my eye, and so I thought I'd share it with you. And yes, this is about actors and the film industry, but this is not really from an entertainment reporter. It is actually a pretty interesting article (so don't judge me)

"We’ve all said this phrase several times about one actor or another: “How on earth does this person keep getting parts in movies!?!?”. Maybe sometimes we see and understand why someone keeps getting parts… hell maybe we even love seeing them, but when it comes down to it we admit to ourselves and others that the person in question is actually talentless and probably doesn’t belong on the big screen."

The article goes on to list 10 actors who truly are not talented at all. I like however, that this article merely ranks these actors on their talent level, not how much people hate them.

"NOW REMEMBER, I’m not talking about the WORST actors. You can have an actor with talent, but they find a way to screw up everything they do. At the same time, you can have someone with no talent at all… but they find a way to not screw something up (I have no talent as a painter, but if you tell me to paint one straight red line on a wall… I can pull that off without too much trouble)."

I like that, its true that while some people have no talent, they are quite good at playing roles that require no talent.

Well, I just found this article entertaining, and since I had not graced this page with my presence in the last few days, I thought I would share it with you. Other than that, not much has happened in my corner of the world that is worth sharing with all 3 of you reading this.
